Camerino is a pleasant small town in the middle of a mountain area in the Macerata province (Marche region) and is attractively located in a panoramic position on the crest between two valleys at 670 meters above sea level. It is the seat of a very ancient University (1336) and has a typical medieval town-plan and an atmosphere of bygone times.
