CITY
Camerino is a pleasant small town in the middle of a mountain area in the Macerata province (Marche region) and is attractively located in a panoramic position on the crest between two valleys at 670 meters above sea level. It is the seat of a very ancient University (1336) and has a typical medieval town-plan and an atmosphere of bygone times.
By plane : we suggest participants to use regular flights to Milan, Bologna, Rimini, Rome or Ancona. The Ancona airport is the nearest. By train : from the north (Milan, Bologna, Rimini) there are regular trains to Castelraimondo Station (change Stations: Ancona and Fabriano or Civitanova Marche). From Rome change at Fabriano. At the Castelraimondo Station, there is a connecting bus for Camerino. By car : refer to the attached map.
