Training objectives of the course
Student must know the nutritional requirements of the most important animal species, and must know the nutritional characteristics of the most important feeds used in animal nutrition.
Prerequisites
Student must know the basis of general chemistry and biochemistry.
Course programme
- Nutritional principles - Nutritional requirements for income animals - Raw materials for animal nutrition - Forages - Concentrates - Genetically modified foods - Aflatoxins and micotoxins
Didactic Methods
Oral lessons in the classroom, pratical works in the laboratories and in the farms.
Learning assessment procedures
Oral examination at the end of the course.
